## Every pack includes a request rate

Bigger packs include a faster rate: 5 requests a second on the smaller packs, up to 50 on Volume 50M.

Need more speed than a pack includes? Pick a faster rate at checkout, up to 25 a second on Starter, 50 on Build, 100 from Growth and 300 from Scale. It costs extra, as a share of the pack price: 20% per doubling up to 50 a second, 40% from 50 to 100 and 60% above 100.

Limits apply to the whole account, across all its keys, and are counted per minute: 5 requests a second is 300 a minute. Credits bought at a faster rate are used first, and your account runs at the rate of the credits it is using. When those run out it returns to 5 a second. Free accounts get 1 request a second.

FAQ

## Questions

**Is there a subscription?**

No. You buy credit packs when you need them and spend them at your own pace.

**Which calls are charged?**

Only calls that return data. Invalid parameters, no data for a query, rate limits and source outages all cost nothing, and every response reports its cost in the X-Credits-Used header.

**What if I need more requests a second?**

Pick a faster rate when you buy a pack, up to 25 a second on Starter, 50 on Build, 100 from Growth and 300 from Scale. It costs extra, as a share of the pack price: 20% per doubling up to 50 a second, 40% from 50 to 100 and 60% above 100. Above 300 a second, contact us. Credits bought at a faster rate are used first. Over your rate, calls return 429 with a Retry-After header and cost nothing.

**How long do credits last?**

Credits from packs last 12 months from purchase. Credits bought at a faster rate are spent first, then the oldest. Free accounts are topped back up to 1,000 credits each month until the first purchase.

**How do taxes and invoices work?**

Our payment provider calculates taxes at checkout and issues your invoice.

**Can I get a refund?**

Within 14 days of purchase we refund the unused part of a pack, pro rata. See the refund policy for details.

**Do I need a separate key for each website?**

No. One key works for all 248 websites and every endpoint, and every call draws on the same credit balance.

**What do responses look like?**

JSON, with no HTML to parse. Fields differ by source, and every API page shows a recorded example and lists its parameters.

**Can AI agents use the API?**

Yes. Our MCP server lets an agent search the catalogue, read an endpoint's parameters and call it with your key. Searching and reading are free; calls cost the same credits as the API.

**What happens when I run out of credits?**

Calls return 402 insufficient\_credits until you buy a pack. Free accounts are topped back up to 1,000 credits each month until the first purchase.
